As a big fan of subscription boxes, I thought it is mandatory for me to make a list of all the awesome bookish subscription boxes here in India to help all my fellow bibliophiles.
Here’s a list of all the subscriptions/book boxes I know:
The Big Book Box
Starting off with an Instagram page, The Big Book Box (you can see my April box’s unboxing here) has grown fast as a subscription service in India. With a fresh theme every month, this service sends a newly released book (or books, depending on the plan of your choice) along with many bookish goodies. They ship on the 20th of each month. Also, they have a Harry potter themed box, which you can order whenever you want.

Books n Beyond
Headed by Papiya, this box subscription is one of the few that I ordered, the Books n Beyond box is a great subscription which is pocket-friendly. At only ₹1200 per box (for one month), this box never fails to impress. It has a new theme every month.

The Booklings Crate
Another pocket-friendly book box! For just ₹899, you get a book, along with 6-7 bookish items that are sure to make your day!
Look at what I got in my last crate here.

Geek Crate is more of a gaming/comic subscription than books. At ₹1599 per month, Geek Crate sends all kinds of merch related to comics, movies, TV shows, anime and gaming, They also include a t-shirt (size selected by the customer) in each and every box. They have free shipping all over India (yay!) and boxes ship on the 30th of the subscribed month. Also, a six month-subscription costs ₹8994 (that is ₹1499 per crate).

The Story Trunk
Although I have never ordered from them, I have heard a lot of amazing things about this bookish box subscription.
The Nerdy Box
I do not know much about this box too, although I went to their website that asked me to email them for more information.
They send curated book bags every month and also design bookish merch. I do not know much about them, but you can reach them on their Instagram page.
Another crate that is pocket-friendly and offers a lot of options for bibliophiles of all ages!
This book subscription box is unique because it sends books by only Indian and African writers. This is a monthly box, which contains at least two books in each box, also has a handwritten letter to you along with bookish merch for ₹800.
A Novel Bunch
The different thing about this box is that the cover design is hand made, along with goodies in the box!

The Paper Charm Shop
Managed by an amazingly talented girl, this shop makes beautiful bookmarks and other bookish goodies. I bought a set of 9 Harry Potter themed magnetic bookmarks and they’re so pretty! This shop also offers 1, 3 and 6-month subscriptions in two categories: YA and Anime (Death Note, anyone?).
